Incoterms ® 2020 Rules & SARS Compliance for Exporters: 13 Nov, Jhb

To accommodate changes as the global trade environment has evolved, a revised version of the Incoterms® rules [Incoterms® 2020] has been released by the ICC which will take effect from 1 January 2020. The Incoterms® 2020 is a must know for all parties involved in any form of international trade and needs to be clearly understood in order to ensure compliancy and clearly define the seller & buyers' responsibilities, risks and costs.

From a local perspective, Customs and Excise have implemented the latest R316 revision which holds considerable benefits for exporters. This revision has already been implemented yet most exporters are unaware not only of the latest legislation relating to over border exports and the relevant benefits to exporters but also the penalties for non-compliance.

Delivered by Linda Bird, regarded as the South African expert on all aspects of international trade, education and training, this one-day workshop will provide delegates with the current Incoterms® 2020 rules in detail, the most current rulings, what documentation needs to be in place in order to benefit from these rules and how to ensure compliancy.

Practical exercises have been specifically developed for this workshop to ensure that delegates are provided with the necessary information and understanding to work with the revised Incoterms® 2020.
